About

Alpine42 is a builder-led AI automation firm operated by Sync Motion LLC. We design and deploy custom AI workflow agents for operations-heavy businesses, with a focus on specialty contractors — HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and everyone else who asks. Founded by Tobias Brida, an engineer with a background in industrial automation. Not a SaaS platform. Not an agency reselling no-code tools. Custom engineering for real operations.

Tobias Brida

Founder · Engineer

I come from industrial automation — designing systems that move physical things reliably in environments where failure has real consequences.

Alpine42 applies the same thinking to operational workflows. The difference between a demo and a production system is whether it handles the edge case at 2am on a Friday. That is what we build for.

I have worked directly with manufacturers, mining operations, and service businesses across the US and Europe. Every Alpine42 system is designed and implemented by me personally.

Positioning

How this is different

Most AI automation agencies resell no-code tools. They connect your Gmail to a spreadsheet via Zapier, add a ChatGPT wrapper, and call it "custom AI." That is not what we do.

We write code. We build real systems with real error handling, real fallback paths, and real human review where it matters. Every workflow is designed around YOUR process — the triggers, the decision points, the edge cases, and the approval steps that are specific to your business.

The stack is purpose-built for each client. No templates. No monthly SaaS subscription for a Zapier flow with a logo on it.

Background

Before Alpine42, Tobias worked in industrial automation and process engineering — systems that coordinate physical equipment, production lines, and distributed operations in environments where downtime is measured in dollars per minute.

That background shapes how we approach operational workflow automation: reliability first, edge cases second, features third.

Alpine42 has worked with teams across manufacturing, mining, construction, and field service operations. In 2026, Sync Motion exhibited at MineXChange in Salt Lake City, connecting directly with US manufacturers and mining companies adopting AI-driven operational improvements.

Clarification

About the name

Alpine42 is a division of Sync Motion LLC. We are not affiliated with Alpine Intelligence, alpine.inc, Alpine IQ, Alpine Virtual, or any other company using the "Alpine" name.

Our content engine, roastedbymarvin.dev, handles code roasts, engineering guides, and technical content. Alpine42 is the commercial implementation side.

If your operations team is losing time to repetitive manual work, we will tell you honestly whether automation makes sense — and what to build first.
